2 DigiDesign
DigiDesign, a subsidiary of Avid, produces the award winning Pro Tools digital audio software, the industry standard for audio post production. Available for Mac and Windows.
3 Adobe After Effects
Adobe After Effects is an amazing low-cost compositing, animation, and motion graphics tool.
4 Final Cut Studio
Apple's Final Cut Pro editing software. Not as good as Avid but a still an excellent low cost application, used by several high profile films and the second major player in post-production.
5 CeltX
CeltX is a free, open source screen writing and pre-production software application available for Mac, Linux, and Windows.
6 JW Flash Video Player
A fantastic, low-cost powerful Flash video player that supports many advanced features including full screen, audio description, closed-captioning and many others. I use it on this site for all of my videos.
7 Joomla! Conent Management System
Joomla! is the free, open source content management system that I use to run all of my websites. It is very powerful and has a plethora of plug-ins available for it to add all sorts of advanced functionality.

Ardour is a free, open-source digital audio workstation program for Mac and Linux. Very powerful.
9 Audacity
Audacity is a free multi-track sound editing program for Mac, Linux, and Windows. It's no ProTools killer, but it's pretty awesome.
